The best of these specialists are you; the independent retailers. While some of the major “Big Box” stores have qualified installers, virtually all of them were trained by an independent retailer; that’s where the experience is.
No one knows better how to install, tune, and design and troubleshoot a car audio system than an independent car audio dealer. You, the independent retailer, are the ones who can build and tune a system to perform at its peak level.
Car Audio Dealers become IASCA Retail Dealer members to differentiate themselves from the other dealers in their marketplace. They know car audio; they know installation design and vehicle acoustics. They know what works, what fits and why a customer needs it.
IASCA Retail Dealers know the rules of competition that dictate a properly balanced system and use those rules when suggesting and building a system for their customers. IASCA Dealers are experienced and provide a high level of customer service that helps educate consumers on what a quality sound system should sound like and how it should be installed.
IASCA Authorized Retail Dealer Membership is designated to independent retail dealers that have a business license and retail store location. They must have experience in the field and must be able to design and perform competition caliber installations. To become an authorized IASCA dealer a shop must meet certain criteria; this is why we have developed the IASCA Retail Membership Program.
All Retail Dealers can have their name listed on the IASCA Dealer Search Engine database, but those who are Authorized IASCA Retail Dealers are “first in line” when it comes to the Dealer Listings in each market area.
