Bass Boxing

Bass Boxing is rapidly taking over as the most popular SPL competiton format. Bass Boxing competitors play full range music to determine how loud their system is in an average SPL reading for up to four rounds. It pits competitors against each other to see which one has the best sounding and LOUD system.

Only approved CDs can be used in Bass Boxing and competitors must play only musical tracks for judging. No single frequency test tones or sine sweeps and certainly no SPL burps here. Competitors play real music to earn their win, just as they would be when they're out cruisin .

Bass Boxing divisions are broken up into the amount of square inches of cone surface, to keep the competition fair. Download the rules and see easy it is to compete and how much fun Bass Boxing can be! Anyone can enter and anyone can win!
