The Sound Challenge Association was formed back in the 80’s, managed and run by a group of industry individuals who’s goal was to bring the sound quality competition scene to the United Kingdom hence they joined the largest competition format in the world, IASCA.
The SCA ran the uk scene successfully upto 1999 where they decided as a group that they needed someone else to run and manage the organisation, they approached John Robinson, who was a dedicated audio competitor for many many years, and inquired would he be interested in taking the reins of the organisation, JR jumped at the chance to try and help the scene evolve into the next century and with Johns knowledge and enthusiasm the deal was done.......and the name was changed to IASCA UK.
Since 1999 John and Andrew Fleming have been successfully running IASCA UK and Ireland, hosting events on both sides of the Irish Sea, helping to keep the good name of IASCA in the forefront of the Car Audio scene for many years to come.
John and Andrew are both international certified judges, between them racking up events from all over Europe and the United States, including European Finals in Italy, Spain, Ukraine and USA events at SBN, SVR and World Finals.
