Appointed in 2002, IASCA Spain began modestly by hosting 5 outdoor events in its first year. Today, they boast over 300 Sound Quality competitor members, hosting much larger events across the country alongside automotive events at many of the the country's major road race circuits.
In 2003, IASCA Spain's competitors took championship honors in most SQ classes at that year's European Championships. In 2004, they played host to the European Championships with a repeat performance by their competitors; the country and its competitors certainly earned the title of being "world class".
IASCA Spain ia and has been a strong contender at every IASCA European Championship they have competed in; they are recognized for building some of the best Sound Quality cars on the continent. Their season begins and January and they host their country's annual Finals competition in November.
IASCA Spain's website, http://www.emssiweb.com/, boasts many features such as an all Spanish Forum, a photo gallery containing some of the country's top and most professional installations, an online product catalog, video reports on all IASCA Spain's events, installer workshops, news and contact information.
They also host a car audio school called EMSSI and are working on adding a local TV channel and a labor exchange program for their students.
IASCA Spain's goal with all these great products is to increase the relationship between all industry members in their country, from competitors to dealers, distributors, manufacturers and all lovers of car audio.
IASCA Spain's Director and President, Luis Miguel Albinana, has been the main driving force behind the growth of IASCA and the industry in his country; his determination and dedication can be felt in this statement from him; "Our objective is to go beyond the physical distances and make a strong industry able to arrive as far as possible in the car audio world".
