TKE Event in Georgia Sept 20 & 21, 2008

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

IASCA TKE EVENT TO TAKE PLACE AT MOTORSPORTS NATIONALS SUPERSHOW

August 15th, 2008 – An agreement has been reached with JBird Productions to host an IASCA triple point TKE alongside the Motorsports Nationals Supershow to be held on September 20th and 21st, 2008 at the Georgia International Convention Center.

The Motorsports Nationals Supershow will feature many of the attractions competitors have come to expect from the NOPI Nationals that it replaces.

“Like NOPI Nationals, the Motorsports Nationals show is a lifestyle event geared towards youth market and today’s automotive enthusiasts. Slated for the schedule are a car show, celebrity appearances, vendor displays and numerous side events including an awesome swimsuit contest, all taking place at the venue” states IASCA President Paul Papadeas; “The show attracts our core demographic and we feel that this event offers mobile electronics manufacturers an opportunity to show their products to key consumers in our industry. After correspondence with JBird Productions regarding the economic plight our industry faces, special exhibit pricing will be offered making it extremely affordable for those who were slated to exhibit at the NOPI event”

The IASCA competition event will be produced by veteran IASCA show promoter Soundoff Technologies. Competitions will include a TKE (Territorial Key Event) event featuring Sound Quality, IdBL SPL competitions and latest SPL competition sensation; Bass Boxing. Along with the IASCA TKE event, events from other competition organizations will be taking place, including the inaugural Car Audio Nationals (CAN) Finals.

OK, IASCA family here it is. The IASCA TKE / Car Audio Nationals to be held September 20th and 21st at the Georgia International Convention Center. This location is about three to four miles from the airport. We have been working on this for some time and everything is a go. Please come out a support this event as we need your help to make it a success. We are giving back to the IdBL and Bass Boxing Competitors 20% of the entry money for each class. Minimum of three people at least per class. Ben and I are working to get sponsors on board and are proud to announce that ARC Audio stepped up to the plate for the trophies for this event already. You can go to www.motorsportsnationals.com and check out the site for the event and things to do. More to come in the next few days about the event and I will keep you posted. We already have MECA and are still working on USACi and I am trying my best to have a dB Drag event also. All we can do is try to have a place so everyone can play at.

RUMOR HAS IT:

I have heard a Rumor and I hope it is just that!! Rumor is: Because IASCA (Paul) is not going to have a North American Nationals, the event we in North America know as "Finals" this year somewhere in the next few months; and the Nationals has moved to SBN next year that some competitors are going to "boycott" or just not attend this upcoming IASCA TKE Event in Atlanta, GA and or SBN next year.

If this is true it makes me sad that everyone that wants to play in the IASCA organization and play with one of the best organizations for Car Audio that is out there that people would do this.

I have been doing events since 1987 and have seen allot of things and people come and go, but lately have seen people's loyalty go down the drain.

Paul and Moe and others talked about moving the Nationals to SBN next year. Everyone had a choice to voice their opinion about moving this year’s Nationals (Finals) event to SBN next year. There were only several posts that reflect any concerns and NOW I hear people say, “Nobody Cares”

I am asking that if you enjoy the sport and want to have a place to play, have fun and a fair event then go out to an event and enter and show off your stuff.

The TKE event in Atlanta, GA, The Motorsports Nationals Supershow is an event that we are doing on our own. IASCA helped us get the venue from JBird and we are paying for it.

The Sound Quality is indoors (guess what we paid for space INSIDE so you could do SQ inside and not have to be outside) No we did not have to do that but having been there done that before we thought it would be a good idea to support the competitor.

The competitor does not have to pay to be inside if they enter IASCA's or MECA's Sound Quality part of the event or the CAN part of the event.

We also had to buy power for this event, which isn't being passed on to the competitors.

The SPL events are going to take place of course outdoors and even Moe from IASCA is coming up from Daytona to help. Heck we even have these judges coming to help:  Richard Clark, Bryan Wilkerson, Micah S, Rich I, Dave MacKinnon, Bob Johan, David Hogan, Kirt Proffitt, Adam Gladen, Tim and Alison Brown, Jereme Creamer, Moe and Kim Sabourin (IASCA staff), Shazad from Trinidad, Rick Sellers, Ben Vollmer and heck even me the floydstr.

This is a staff that most competitors would love to be judged by.  Some of the best Judges for CAN Finals in the nation. Heck you could show up just to get Richard Clarks autograph for no charge - sorry had to do that to you Richard.

To sum this post up if you want to win some money, be inside for Sound Quality, win some SPL money. Three people per class or more and the 1st Place winner gets the 20 percent back of the total entry fee for that class. Have fun and get into the event (one ticket for two days per entry to get inside) and have a great time then we will see you there.

I might add since the soap box is handy, if you live in Florida and you do not attend a Michael Hadden Event or Rad Bolt Event then you have no reason what so ever to complain. Michael Hadden is beating the streets and doing events in Florida for you. Support him along with Rad.

I hope to see you at the event and we are still working on 12 Volt vendors and this will be a great event. Please do not hold a grudge about this post I want what I have always wanted and that is a place for COMPETITORS to have place to play that is FUN, FAIR, and REWARDING.
